# Building STRATRONIX PAA: A 1U Box That Beats ChatGPT at 122x Lower Cost

When we started STRATRONIX in 2025, the enterprise AI market had a problem:

> **Everyone wants the productivity of ChatGPT, but no one trusts the privacy model.**

Three trends convinced us this was the right moment to build something different:

1. **LLMs got open-source competitive.** Llama 3.3 70B is on par with GPT-4 for most enterprise tasks. You don't *need* OpenAI anymore.

So we built **STRATRONIX STA-100 PAA** — a 1U appliance that runs 10 AI agents locally.
